For over a decade, I've had the pleasure of working on technical projects with theatre companies and educational organizations throughout New England.
Highlights include:
Leading scenery builds for two productions of Annie Baker’s The Flick: first with Company One Theatre, then with Gloucester Stage
Mentoring students in Merrimack College’s Theatre Arts program and Tufts University’s Department of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies as technical director for several academic productions
Stage managing Bad Habit Productions’ award-winning production of Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde
Supervising operation/instructing students on Flying by Foy installations for productions of Peter Pan and Mary Poppins
I've supervised and taught student technicians at the middle school, high school, and college level: from Boston Conservatory at Berklee to Northeastern University, Concord Academy to Walnut Hill School for the Arts, and Burlington, Wilmington, Melrose, and Wakefield Public Schools. Teaching technology and engineering through the access point of creative engagement is a major focus of my educational work. During the academic year, I teach STE(A)M courses at Pingree School, an independent day school in South Hamilton, MA.
