Over the past decade, I've had the pleasure of working on technical projects with theatre companies throughout New England.

Highlights:

  • Leading scenery builds for two productions of Annie Baker’s The Flick: first with Company One Theatre, then with Gloucester Stage

  • Stage managing Bad Habit Productions’ award-winning production of Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde

  • Supporting production management of the debut of Sally Taylor’s Consenses Festival at Grange Hall on Martha’s Vineyard

  • Mentoring students in Merrimack College’s Theatre Arts program as technical director for several academic productions

  • Supervising operation/instructing students on Flying by Foy installations for productions of Peter Pan and Mary Poppins

Recent projects include:

  • Stage management for Desert Journey at Walnut Hill School for the Arts

  • Technical direction and assisting production management for The Interrobangers at the Boston Public Library with Company One Theatre

  • Lighting design for The Spongebob Musical & Mean Girls with Melrose Public Schools

  • Technical direction for Macbeth on Boston Common with Commonwealth Shakespeare Company

I've supervised and taught student technicians at the middle school, high school, and college level: with Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Merrimack College, Northeastern University, Concord Academy, and Burlington, Wilmington, Melrose, and Wakefield Public Schools. Teaching technology and engineering through the access point of creative production is a major focus of my educational work.  During the academic year, I teach STEAM courses at Pingree School, an independent day school in South Hamilton, MA.
